Clark Funeral Home Posted February 24, 2014 Report Share Posted February 24, 2014 Herbert Miller, age 84, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014. He was born December 2, 1929, in Dallas, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, J. H. (Jimmy) Miller, mother, Ada Thompson Miller, and grandson, Chad Butler. Mr. Miller retired from Lockheed-Martin after 28 years of service. He was a licensed barber and a farmer at heart. Mr. Miller was a member of the Smyrna United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Shirley Browning Miller; daughters & sons-in-law, Gail Hollis Hayes & husband, Bobby of Kennesaw, GA, Sheila Butler & husband, Rene of Dallas, GA and Vickie Williams & husband, Randy of Buchanan, GA; sisters & brothers-in-law, Nina Swan of Hileah, FL, Katherine & Dale Smith of Dallas, GA and Brenda & Ken Sanford of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Popp (Bill) , Joshua Williams (Starla) and Matt Williams (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Noah Popp, Wyatt Williams, Aniston Williams, Bryce Williams, Finley Williams and Eisley Williams; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 3:00 PM, from Smyrna United Methodist Church, with Reverend Steve Griggers, Mr. Jerry Keown and Mr. Kenneth Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Josh Williams, Matt Williams, Bill Popp, Kenneth Thompson, Denny Maulding, Bryan Ragsdale, Brian Smith and Jimmy Hannah serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wyatt Williams and Bryce Williams. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
