Cardwell, age 100, of Douglasville, passedaway on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at her residence. Virginia was born on June 19, 1913 in Marion, VA to lovingparents the late Mr. William Adam Badgett and Mrs. Minnie RichardsonBadgett. She was also preceded in deathby her beloved husband Mr. William Henry Cardwell and several siblings. Mrs. Cardwell was a Jehovah's Witness. Before retirement, she worked as aclerk. She enjoyed reading and workingcrossword puzzles. She is survived by her daughter Langre James and husbandWilliam James; son Mr. Sidney Cardwell; daughter Ms. Jeri Cardwell; twogranddaughters Mrs. Ginny Masters and husband Terrance Masters and Mrs. LisaEdwards; one grandson Mr. Jeffrey James and wife Jenile James; seven greatgrandchildren Dana and Jason Hill, Jessica and Cody Anderson, Keri Masters, LangreEdwards, Corynne Edwards, Jonathan James, and Jillian James; two great greatgrandchildren Kianna Paige Brown, and Jadyn Hill. The family will have a memorial service at The Kingdom Hallof Jehovah's Witnesses (387 Hiram Sudie Road) Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2pm.
