Clark Funeral Home Posted December 17, 2013 Report Share Posted December 17, 2013 Virginia Hancock, age 82, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013. She was born in Gordon, GA, on September 27, 1931, to the late, George Freddie Waters & Annie Sapp Waters. Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hancock and sister, Christine Stokes. She retired from Piggly Wigley as a cashier. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Donald & Nancy Griner of Dallas, GA; step-children, Susie & John Jones of Albany, GA, Kay Lamb f Albany, GA, Jacki Hancock of Poulan, GA and Michael & Rhonda Hancock of Sycamore, GA; brother, B. F. Waters of Palatka, FL; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at 1:00 PM, from Poulan City Cemetery in Poulan, GA.
