Mrs. Elaine Pitts Lindsey, age 85, of Austell, passed awayon Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice.

 

 

 

Elaine was born on February 16, 1928 to loving parents thelate Mr. Hughes Pitts and Mrs. Pauline Hale Pitts. She was also preceded in death by one brotherMr. Billy Pitts, and two sisters Mrs. Peggy Thompson and Mrs. Mary Coker.

 

 

 

Mrs. Lindsey was employed in the office of TrimlineSales. She was of the BaptistFaith. She enjoyed playing bingo withher friends and working outdoors in her garden.

 

 

 

She is survived by four sons Mr. & Mrs. Steve(Charlotte) Lindsey of Riverdale, Mr. & Mrs. Stan (Denise) Lindsey of PuntaGorda, FL, Mr. & Mrs. Charlie (Vickey) Lindsey of Tallapoosa, and Mr. &Mrs. Rex (Tina) Lindsey of Hiram; eight grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; one sister Mrs. Betty Love of Smyrna; several nieces, nephews;and many other relatives and friends.

 

 

 

Interment for Mrs. Lindsey will be held on Monday, November25, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
