Funeral Director Posted November 6, 2013 Report Share Posted November 6, 2013 Mrs. Edythe Collins Keeney, age 86, of Dallas, passed awayon Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Kennestone Hospital. Mrs. Edythe Keeney was born in Cartersville on June 10,1927, to loving parents the late Mr. J.M. Collins and Mrs. Lizzie MundyCollins. She was also preceded in deathby her son Mr. Michael D. Hall; three brothers; and two sisters. Edythe loved spending time with her family especially herkids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She enjoyed being outdoors working with her flowers and gardening. She was a member of Piney Grove BaptistChurch. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years Mr.Harold Keeney of Dallas; six children Mr. & Mrs. Dave (Sheila) Girgenti ofWoodstock, Mr. & Mrs. Sammy (Tracy) Hall of Ranger, Mr. & Mrs. Tony(Debbie) Hall of Dallas, Mr. & Mrs. Michael (Tami) Ingram of Dallas, Mr.& Mrs. Renee (Wanda) Keeney of Cartersville, and Mr. & Mrs. Rick(Cheryl) Mason of Cartersville; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen greatgrandchildren; one daughter in law Mrs. Nancy Hall of Cartersville; two sistersin law Mrs. Mae Collins Lamanac and Mrs. Hazel Collins both of Dallas; severalnieces, nephews, and many other beloved relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Edythe Keeney will be held atPiney Grove Baptist Church on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 2 pm with ReverendLarry Davis officiating. She will lie instate from 1 – 2 pm. James Hall, ShannonHall, Troy Hall, Isaac Hall, Montana Ingram, and Greg Mason will serve aspallbearers. Interment will follow atPiney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home onThursday, November 7, 2013 from 4 – 9 pm and Friday, November 8, 2013 from 9 amuntil 12 noon.
