Bobbie Mae Tucker, age 96, of Powder Springs, formerly of Hiram, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013. She was born on March 25, 1917 in Milton County, GA, to the late Jim and Clare Smith and was preceded in death by her husband, William Simpson Tucker, daughters, Mary Idarita Tucker, Sadie Laverne Croker, and Carolyn Kinsey, and brother, Hall Smith. Mrs. Tucker was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include children, Lemmar Ware of Taylorsville, GA, Wilfred & Charlotte Tucker of McDonough, GA, Eloise Driskell of Hiram, GA, Glenda & Charles Shipp of Powder Springs, GA, Rodney & Rhonda Tucker of Taylorsville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Oscar & Myrtle Smith; sister, Grace Beck of Douglasville, GA; son-in-law, James Kinsey of Bremen, GA; sister-in-law, Sarah Smith of Hiram, GA; 27 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 21, 2013, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
