Johnny Watts Spencer, age 76, of Rockmart, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He was born on May 16, 1937, in Atlanta, GA, to the late John and Annie Spencer. Mr. Spencer was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Roadway Express where he worked as a truck driver.

 

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Johnny “Dale” & Libby Spencer of Rockmart; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Gail & Gary Swinson of Ellijay, GA, Cindy & Steve Pruitt of Covington, GA, Missy & Wesley Kissner of Ringgold, GA, Sherrie Jones of Cleveland, TN, and Lori Spencer of Cleveland, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Jimmie Ann & Joe Costello of Stockbridge, GA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
