Funeral Director Posted September 8, 2013 Report Share Posted September 8, 2013 Mrs. Opal Lillian Cohran Graham, age 81, of Dallas, passedaway on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her home. Opal was born on October 28, 1931 in Dallas, to lovingparents the late Mr. Leon Cohran and Mrs. Minnie Thomason Cohran. She was an Executive Director for the DallasHousing Authority and worked for Lee Hardware for 30 years. She was a verycreative person and enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Never an idle woman she enjoyed reading,travelling, and spending time with her family. She loved the Lord and was a charter member of Grace CovenantPresbyterian Church. Mrs. Graham is survived by her beloved husband of 63 yearsMr. Tommie “Ray” Graham Sr.; one son Mr. & Mrs. Tommie (Kathy) Graham, Jr.;one daughter Mr. & Mrs. David (Pat) Baxter all of Dallas; fivegrandchildren Mr. & Mrs. Davy (Cindy) Baxter, Mr. & Mrs. David (Beth)Evans all of Dallas, Mr. & Mrs. Dustin (Laura) Rogers of Villa Rica, Mr.& Mrs. Eric (Jennifer) Gravely, and Ms. Ansley Graham all of Hiram; onesister Mrs. Evelyn Womack of Dallas; ten great grandchildren; one great greatgrandson; several other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Graham will be held in theChapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 1 pmwith Dr. Wilson Smith officiating. TylerBaxter, Dustin Evans, Jake Hammitt, Bryan Baxter, Jesse Baxter, and DarienJames will serve as pall bearers. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday,September 9, 2013 from 5 – 8 pm and Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 9 am untilthe funeral hour.
