Elsie Sims, age 68 of Hiram, GA passed away on August 3, 2013. She was born on January 27, 1945 in Temple, GA. She was retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her husband, Wendall A. Sims and a son, Patrick Andre Sims.

She is survived by her grandson, Antonio J. Sims of Dallas, GA, and sisters; Evelyn Hall, Burnell Scales, Joyce Askew; brother, James Hall all of Atlanta, GA.; brother-in-law, Larry D. Sims and god-daughter, Sy Johnson, of Dallas, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Jeffrey R. Wimbush officiating. Interment will follow at Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
