Mr. Jerry William Gramling

Mr. Jerry William Gramling, age 70, of Dallas, passed awayon Sunday, August 4, 2013 at his residence.

 

 

 

Jerry was born in Canton, Georgia on June 30, 1943 to lovingparents the late Mr. Jess Gramling and Mrs. Edna Smith Gramling. He was also preceded in death by his daughterMrs. Velvet Shaw, several brothers, and two sisters.

 

 

 

Mr. Gramling worked on the Assembly Line at General Motorsuntil he retired. He was a member ofHaney Grove Baptist Church. He was anavid hunter and loved the outdoors.

 

 

 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Mrs. MelbaGramling; one daughter Mr. & Mrs. David (Sherry) Mathias; one son Mr.Daniel Gramling all of Dallas; six grandchildren David Mathias, Steven Mathiasboth of Dallas, Jerry Bryant of Marietta, Jerald and Sam Shaw, Daniel Gramling,and Terry Gramling all of Dallas; two great grandchildren Josh Shaw and AutumnShaw; cousin Brandy Wood; several nieces and nephews.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Gramling will be held in the Chapelof Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 1 pm withReverend Frank McPherson officiating. David Mathias, Steven Mathias, Jerry Bryant, Jerald Shaw, DanielGramling, and Dylan Matthews will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Liberty HillCemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home onTuesday, August 6, 2013 from 4 – 9 pm and Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 9 amuntil the funeral hour.
