Mrs. Jimmie Ruth Cochran, age 87, of Dallas, Georgia, passedaway on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center

 

 

 

Ruth was born on March 9, 1926, to the late Mr. Ray Ragsdaleand Mrs. Bonnie Morris Ragsdale. She wasalso preceded in death by her beloved husband Mr. Loyd D. Cochran; and one sonMr. Joe Cochran.

 

 

 

Ruth loved her family and spent her life working in herhome. Her favorite pastime wasGenealogy. She was of the Baptist faith.

 

 

 

Mrs. Cochran is survived by one son Mr. Jimmy Cochran ofDallas, GA; two brothers Mr. Sam Ragsdale and Mr. Lewis Ragsdale both ofDallas, GA; three grandchildren Mrs. Melody Rife; Mr. Brian Cochran both ofDallas, GA; and Mr. Shane Cochran of Rockmart, GA; seven grandchildren; nieces,nephews and other beloved family and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Cochran will be held in theChapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2 pm withReverend George Barnett officiating. Music will be provided by Donna Clay. Shane Cochran, Brian Cochran, Rick Rife, Barry Ragsdale, Alan Ragsdale,and Michael Fuller will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday,July 18, 2013 from 4 – 9 pm and Friday, July 19, 2013 from 9 am until thefuneral hour.
