Mrs. Ruby Louise Inman Wood, age 86 of Dallas passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Tranquility Hospice in Kennesaw.

 

Mrs. Wood was born on November 19, 1926 in Mobile, AL, the daughter of the late Robert Inman and the late Bertha May Inman. She had worked in Property Management in Panama City, FL and was of the Presbyterian faith. She loved reading and her five beautiful children. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Humphrey Wood.

 

Mrs. Wood is survived by her children, Sheri Wood Howard and her husband, Danny of Athens, Sandra Wood Miller and her husband Jeff of Dallas, Jackie Wood Burt of Panama City, FL, Michael Wood and his wife, Sherri of Auburn, AL, and Ann Wood Davenport and her husband, Jim of Panama City, FL; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Dot Jarvis of Dallas, NC; two nieces, Karen Rhine and her husband Barry of Dallas, NC, Kim Potts and her husband, Kenny of Hampton; nephew, Keith Jarvis and his wife, Anita of Locust Grove; and many other extended family and friends also survive.

 

Graveside and interment services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery with Brother Joe Brice officiating.

 

In memory of Mrs. Wood, the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wellstar Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain, 475 Dickson Road, Marietta, GA 30066.
