Sue Porter, age 74, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. She was born on July 10, 1938, in Taylorsville, GA, to the late Woodrow and Wilma Kay, and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Porter, daughter, Kimberly Kaye Jones, and brother, Jimmy W. Kay. Ms. Porter was a member of Beulah Land Baptist Church. She worked as a secretary for Jones Wood and Timber for many years and retired from Lockheed-Martin where she worked in the Payroll Department.

 

Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Franklin & Ellen Kay of Dallas; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda & Curtis Miller of Temple; seven nieces, several great nephews and nieces and one great-great niece.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Warriner. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. Jerry Bullock, Cody Green, David Craig, Larry Harris, Mark Warren, and Rickey Bradley will serve as pallbearers, and James Washington will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 27, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
