Hubert Edward Blackmon, age 81, of Villa Rica, GA., passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He was born on January 26, 1932 in Dallas, GA. and was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Franklin and Carrie Parthenia Blackmon. He was in the construction business most of his life.

 

Mr. Blackmon is survived by his wife, Margie Blackmon, his children; Glenda & Richard Bruns of Hiram,GA., Debbie & Neal McCleary of Douglasville, GA., Tony & Denise Blackmon of Villa Rica, GA., Scott & Libby Blackmon of Winston, GA., Becky & Victor Emory of Villa Rica, GA., sister; Burma & L.Z. Waits of Dallas, GA,. ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Harold Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, GA. with Kyle Devore, Neal McCleary, Joshua Parks, Bobby Blackmon, Michael Blackmon and Jason Cantrell serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
