bensonfh Posted June 12, 2013 Report Share Posted June 12, 2013 Funeral Services for Mr. Ernie Lane Young age 83 of Dallas, Ga. will be held on Friday June 14, 2013 at 3:00 PM from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Hamby, Rev. Jeremy Lundy and Mr. David Austin officiating. Interment will follow in the Dallas Memory Gardens with Sam Ragsdale, Daniel Jenkins, Alan Ragsdale, Eddie Champion, Cole Fincham, Boyd "Boykin" Austin and David Austin serving as Pall Bearers Mr. Young's family will be receiving friends on Thursday June 13, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Mr. Young was a Member of the First Baptist Church in Dallas, Ga. for 65 years, was a Deacon Emeritus. He served his country in the United States Army for two years during the Korean Conflict. He was a Inspector for 40 years with Lockheed Martin. A very devoted Husband, loved his family and church. He enjoyed working in his yard and his cars. Survivors Include: Wife: Mrs. Aira Young of Dallas, Ga.
