Mr. William Michael “Mike” Grogan, age 47, a lifelongresident of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at CobbHospital.

 

 

 

Mike was born on July 9, 1965 to loving parents Mr. LewisPerry Grogan and Mrs. Barbara Womack Trader. He was employed as a sales representative for Keystone. He attended Midway Presbyterian Church wherehe nurtured his Christian Faith through his love and study of God’s word. What he enjoyed most in life was Bible Studyand teaching God’s Word. His other past timesincluded gaming and movies “Lord of the Rings” with Lauren, reading, andpainting figurines for board games.

 

 

 

He is survived by one daughter Ms. Lauren Grogan, former wifeof 4 years Mrs. Barbie Grogan both of Cumming, GA; parents Steve and BarbaraTrader of Dallas, GA; three sisters Mr. & Mrs. Terry (Cindy) Garrett ofDallas, GA, Mr. & Mrs. Tony (Tina) Sullivan of Buchanan, GA, and Mr. &Mrs. Alan (Mandy) Slappey of Dallas, GA; one brother Mr. Clint Trader of VillaRica, GA; girlfriend and her daughter Lisa and Abi Lehman; uncle Mr. & Mrs.G.W. (Barbara) Womack of Dallas, GA; aunts Mr. & Mrs. Lewis (Phyllis)Stegall, Mr. & Mrs. Bobby (Sandra) Mitchell, and Mr. & Mrs. C.L. (Gail)Poole all of Dallas, GA; grandmother Mrs. Betty Trader, stepmother Mrs. AnitaGrogan both of Dallas, GA; nieces, nephews, and many other beloved family andfriends. He was preceded in death byfather Mr. Lewis Perry Grogan, and grandparents Mr. & Mrs. F.M. (Vassie)Womack.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Mike Grogan will be held in theChapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 2 pm withReverend Mark Harington officiating. Music will include CD selections by Jeff Eberhart. The following gentlemen will serve aspallbearers Mark Lamine, Clint Trader, Bo Trader, Tony Sullivan, Alan Slappey,and Geary Garrett. G.W. Womack willserve as honorary pallbearer. Intermentwill follow at Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home onSaturday, June 1, 2013 from 5 – 8 pm and Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 9 am untilthe funeral hour.
