Mr. Jessie Truman King, age 67, of Rockmart, Georgia, passedaway on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his place of residence.

 

 

 

Truman was born on August 25, 1945, to loving parents thelate Mr. George D. King and Mrs. Cecil D. Dingler King. He worked as a laborer in the Constructionindustry. He enjoyed fishing andNascar. Jessie was a member of NewFreedom Baptist Church.

 

 

 

He is survived by his beloved wife Mrs. Patsy Marie King ofRockmart, GA; three daughters Mr. & Mrs. Anthony (Tammy) Holden ofRockmart, GA, Mr. & Mrs. Steve (Tina) Wilkes of Tifton, GA, and Mr. &Mrs. Joel (Cheryl) Hicks of Rockmart, GA; one son Mr. Jessie Duane King ofRockmart, GA; one sister Ms. Dorothy Mae Boyd of Albertville, AL; two brothersMr. & Mrs. Johnny (Clovis) King of Cedartown, GA, and Mr. & Mrs.Charles (Margaret) King of Hiram, GA; thirteen grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren, and many other beloved family and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. King will be held in the Chapel ofJeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 2 pm with Reverend AndyFennell and Brother Buddy Collett officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart, Jamie Johnson, and Amy Mixonand will include the selections Beulahland and Lead Me Home. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearersDaniel King, James King, Dustin Geiger, Kenneth Geiger, Fred Lindsey, JoelHicks, and Steve Wilkes.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home onSaturday, May 4, 2013 from 4 – 8 pm and Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 10 am untilthe time of service.
