Mr. Gary Thomas "Big Tommy" Chastain

Mr. Gary "Big Tommy" Thomas Chastain, age 52, of Dallas,Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at his residence.

 

 

 

Big Tommy was born on March 13, 1961 in Austell, GA toloving parents the late Mr. Howard Stephen Chastain and Mrs. Esther Jones Chastain. He was also preceded in death by one brotherMr. Sammy Chastain and one sister Ms. Lisa Rose Chastain.

 

 

 

He was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator inconstruction. Tommy enjoyed watchingmovies with his grandkids, collecting knives, antique model cars, eating and helpingpeople. He was of the Baptist Faith.

 

 

 

Tommy is survived by two sons Mr. Gary Thomas Chastain Jr.,and Mr. Joshua Collin Chastain & Fiancé Beth Hardy; two daughters Mr. &Mrs. Alex (Shawna Marie) Tanner, and Ms. Tonya Michelle Chastain & FiancéDustin Chambers; three brothers Mr. & Mrs. Blake (Mary) Chastain, Mr. &Mrs. Stephen (Sheila) Chastain, and Mr. & Mrs. Greg (Terrie) Chastain; onesister Mrs. Judy Messadi all of Dallas, GA; twelve grandkids Dean "Dino" Fowlerof Dallas, GA, Cory "Kujo" Chastain of Ft. Polk, LA, Macie "Midget" Chastain ofFt. Polk, LA, Madison "Oreo" Tidwell of Ft. Polk, LA Joshua "Tater Head"Chastain, Jr. of Dallas, GA, Summer "Princess" Tanner of Dallas, GA, AmberChastain of Dallas, GA, Dalton "Peeper" Tanner of Dallas, GA, Dallas "Dal-Ass"Parker of Buchanan, GA, Destiny "Sweet Cheeks" Parker of Buchanan, GA, Paul"Shadow" Chastain of Dallas, GA, and Sophia "Sunshine" Tanner of Dallas, GA;many nieces, nephews and other beloved family and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Jeff EberhartFuneral Home on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 3 pm with Reverend Thomas Coleofficiating. Music will be provided byPenny Goldman. The following gentlemenwill serve as pallbearers Mr. Dustin Chambers, Mr. Josh Chastain, Mr. AlexTanner, Mr. Eric Chastain, Mr. Donald Williams, and Mr. Todd Williams. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home onSaturday, April 20, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm and Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 9 amuntil the funeral hour.
