Mrs. Montine Lillian Lewallen Newman, age 88, of Rockmart,Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Polk Medical Center.

 

 

 

Montine was born on September 18, 1924 in Lula, GA to lovingparents. She was a wonderful homemakerand of the Baptist Faith.

 

 

 

She is survived by one grandson Mr. Ronnie Fowler, nieces,nephews, and other beloved friends. Shewas preceded in death by her father, mother Mrs. Corina Lewallen, husband Mr.Stanley E. Newman, and one daughter Mrs. Helen Fowler.

 

 

 

A graveside service will be held at Georgia Memorial Park onMonday, April 8, 2013 at 10 am with Reverend Thomas Cole officiating. Interment will follow.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home onSunday, April 7, 2013 from 1 – 8 pm.
