Clark Funeral Home Posted April 3, 2013 Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 Marion Thomas PawPaw Worthington, age 73, of Dallas, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was born in Rome, GA, May 18, 1939, and was preceded in death by his father, Burl Worthington and mother, Lizzie P. Bush. Mr. Worthington worked as a brick mason most of his life. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Vera S. Worthington; sons, Marion A. Worthington & Dawn Wilson of Dallas, GA, and Stephen R. Worthington & Karen Martin of Dallas, GA; daughter, Veronica & Jeff Hitchcock of Douglasville, GA; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one niece; three nephews; and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Jimmy Hicks and Reverend Daryl Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 5, 2013, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
