Mrs. Linda Joyce Gray Hunt

Mrs. Linda Joyce Gray Hunt, age 69 of Hiram, GA passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center.

 

 

Mrs. Hunt was born on February 16, 1944 in Calhoun, GA the daughter of the late Odell Gray and the late Evelyn Evans Gray. She worked as a Para-pro with the Paulding County Board of Education and was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Hunt enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts and was an avid reader and writer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carter Hunt in 1991; a sister, Kay Gray; and a brother, Vincent Gray.

 

 

Mrs. Hunt is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Ronda Hunt of Hiram; two grandchildren, Bethany and Blair Hunt of Hiram;sister, Shelia Duffey of Calhoun; two nieces, Darla Bryant of Dalton and Sheryl Stone of Calhoun; a great niece, Peyton Stone of Calhoun and other beloved relatives and friends.

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Hunt will be held on Saturday,March 9, 2013 in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Historic Cemetery in Hiram.

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 4-9 pm and on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
