Randall Lee “Randy” Jones, age 58, of Dallas, GA, formerly of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on February 23, 2013. He was born on February 15, 1955 in Atlanta, GA. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Grace Covenant Church, those who really knew Randy knew him for his huge sense of humor and outrageous antics. He could surely always make you smile, he was a life long nascar fan, dedicated to the number 3 Dale Earnhardt. Last but not least “the best darn loader operator around”.

 

Survivors include his wife Mary Lavina Jones, of Dallas, GA, his parents Carl Lee “Carlos” and Shelvie Jean Jones, of Hiram, GA, sons and daughters in law, Brian Randall and his wife Susanna Jones of Hiram, GA, Michael Shane and his wife Alicia Jones, Temple, GA, Trinity Wade Jones, Bremen, GA, Tyler Lee Jones, Dallas, GA, Brett Rigdon, Powder Springs,GA. Daughters and sons in law Jessica Lea and her husband Ron Matthews, Dallas, GA, Jennifer Lynn Jones, Powder Springs, GA, Stefanie Anne Jones, Dallas, GA, Vanessa Rigdon, Powder Springs, GA, Kayla Rigdon, Powder Springs, GA. Brother and sister in law Carl Edwin “Skeet” and his wife Renee Jones, Smyrna, GA, sister and brother in law Katherine Elaine and her husband Tony Smith, Dallas, GA. 17 grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home with Johnathan Woodward officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Jones will be cremated following the service.In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Calvary Childrens Home 1430 Lost Mountain Rd, Powder Springs, GA, 30127.
