Mrs. Coreen Elizabeth Davis

Mrs. Coreen Elizabeth Davis, age 70, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Heritage Hospice.

 

 

 

Coreen was born on September 22, 1942 in Nassau, Bahamas to loving parents the late Mr. Bernard Turner and Mrs. Remelda Ferguson Turner. She worked as a restaurant cook and later owned her own independent cleaning service. She was a member of Acts II Community Church and before that a member of Ebeneezer Baptist Church in Florida. She enjoyed cooking, but mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

 

 

 

Mrs. Davis is survived by one daughter and son in law Mr. & Mrs. Johnny (Verlene) Rich of Canton, GA; three grandchildren Joseph Rich of Tampa, FL, Rachel Rich, and Joshua Rich both of Canton, GA; three brothers George Turner, Charles Turner, and Phillip Turner; four sisters Ann Turner, Jessica Turner, Cleomie Turner, and Karen Turner all of Nassau, Bahamas; several cousins Winters Family, Pratt Family, Kemp Family, Swan Family, Ferguson Family and the Turner Family; many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

 

 

The funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1 pm with her son in law Johnny Rich officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
