Mrs. Margaret Ruth Watts, age 85 of Dallas passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at her residence.

 

 

 

Mrs. Watts was born on January 17, 1928 in Ashland, AL the daughter of the late Otis Newton Williams and Leola Strickland Williams. Mrs. Watts was a homemaker and was a member of the North Paulding Baptist Church. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, reading and loved Alabama football. In addition to her parents,she is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Lee Watts; son, Tommy Watts and a brother, Lowell Williams.

 

 

 

Mrs. Watts is survived by her daughter, Joyce and Rick Little of Dallas; grandchildren, David and Carrie Birchfield of Rockmart, Joshand Courtney Lamberth of Sylacauga, AL, Chris Watts of Dallas and Lee Watts of Ohio; great grandchildren, Addison and Kendall Birchfield, Erik and Averee Galvin, Morgan and Brooke Watts; sister, Peggy Fulbright of Memphis, TN andmany beloved family members and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Watts will be held on Tuesday,February 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Cole, Rev. David Birchfield, and Brother Rick Little.

A private interment service will follow in the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: David Birchfield, Josh Lamberth, Chris Watts,Randy Birchfield, Josh Little and Alan Fulbright.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 4-9 pm and on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 9 am until the funeral hour.

 

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the North Paulding Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 136, Dallas, GA 30132 in Mrs. Watts' name.
