Mrs. Julia Anna Dearborn

Mrs. Julia Anna Dearborn, age 87, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on February 1, 2013 at Vistas Hospice in Austell.

 

 

 

Julia was born on September 25, 1925, in Providence, RI, to loving parents the late Mr. Luigi Rossini and Mrs. Santina Michelotti. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years Mr. Wade B. Dearborn who passed away January 16, 2009.

 

 

 

Julia worked as a salesperson for Paramount Industries. She was the wife of a Navy Veteran and loved her family and country. She loved to entertain and cook for family and friends. She was a member of County Line Methodist Church and always looked forward to church functions. She also enjoyed shopping in her free time.

 

 

 

Mrs. Dearborn is survived by one daughter Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Karen) Crowley of Dallas, GA; one son Mr. Brian Dearborn of E. Douglas, MA; five grandchildren Julie Kirkland, Sarah Hart, Todd Dearborn, Daniel Dearborn, and Amanda Dearborn; five great grandchildren Victoria Kirkland, Alexis Kirkland, Elisabeth Kirkland Austin Wallace, and Caden Dowell; one twin sister Mrs. Elizabeth Pearson of Woonsocket, RI; one sister in law Mrs. Jean Stallard of MA; one brother in law Mr. & Mrs. Henry (Beverly) Carlburg of Lake Taho, NV; nieces, nephews; her cat Oscar, and other beloved family and friends.

 

 

 

Her funeral service will be held at County Line Methodist Church on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11 am Pastor Scott Pickering officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 9 am until the funeral hour. Music will include the selection "It Is Well With My Soul". Gordon Crawley, Todd Dearborn, Brian Dearborn, and Vance Kirkland will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30 pm with a short Graveside Committal service.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at County Line Methodist Church on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
