Funeral Director Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 Mr. Dwayne Curtis Hollis, age 60 of Dallas passed away onSaturday, January 19, 2013.<br style="mso-special-character: line-break;"><br style="mso-special-character: line-break;"> Mr. Hollis was born on October 11, 1952 in Atlanta, GA theson of the late Sharron E. Hollis and Georgia Irene Parker Hollis. Mr. Hollis was a 1970 graduate of Fulton HighSchool and was a union plumber with Art Plumbing. Mr. Hollis was of the Baptist faith andenjoyed hunting and fishing. He alsoenjoyed playing his guitar, singing and songwriting. In addition to his parents, he is preceded indeath by a brother, Bill Hollis. Mr. Hollis is survived by his daughters, Amberly Hollis andAlisha Hollis, both of Dallas; wife of many years, Sue Hollis of Hiram; threegrandchildren, Irelynn Culver, Journee Hollis and Jackson Lee Turner; three sisters, Beverly Melton of Morrow, Delores Price of Dallas,and Brenda Johns of Douglasville; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Hollis will be held on Friday,January 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Homewith Pastor Rodney Parson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart andBecky Bearden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home onThursday, January 24, 2013 from 4-9 pm and on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 9am until the funeral hour.
