Kenny Harris, age 61, of Buchanan, GA, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013. He was born, August 25, 1951, in Austell, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, Clinton J. Harris; mother, Sarah Rackley Dokey; grandparents, Levi & Myra Harris and Warner & June Rackley; and step-brothers, Eddie Joe Pursley and Richard Langdon. Mr. Harris worked as a Firefighter and EMT for the Douglas County Fire Department and he also had worked for Clark Ambulance. He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Penny C. Harris; sons & daughter-in-law, Jason & Michelle Harris of Villa Rica, GA and John B. Harris of Waco, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Linda & Terrell Agan of Buchanan, GA; step-father, Melvin Dokey of Hiram, GA; step-sisters, Dorenda Roberts (Johnny) of Brooks, GA, Doretha Eagle of Hiram, GA and Atalie Bland of Dallas, GA; and step-brothers, Houston Pursley of Cartersville, GA and Allen Pursley (Vickie) of Hiram, GA.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 18, 2013, at 5:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 18, 2013, from 4:00 PM until the service time.
