Ms. Myrtle Helia Hicks Wyatt, age 80 of Temple, GA passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Higgins Medical Center in Bremen.

 

 

Mrs. Wyatt was born on July 19, 1932 in Dallas, GA, the daughter of the late Otis and Gladys Myrtle Hayes Hicks. Ms. Wyatt was a member of the Beulahland Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Shewas a seamstress and she loved to travel and play cards. Ms. Wyatt loved the mountains and being with people. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Nelda Durham in 1993 and an infant son,Scott Wyatt in 1962.

 

 

Ms. Wyatt is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Toby Cole of Carrollton; four grandchildren, Jeffery Durham of Shreveport,LA, Amanda Wilson of Villa Rica, Kristy Willis of Cedartown and Derek Willis of Savannah; four great-grandchildren, Olivia Bonds of Villa Rica, Ethan Overstreet of Cedartown, Tyler Wilson and Presli Wilson of Villa Rica; three sisters, Irma Worthan, Helen Norris and Judy Ellison; and many nieces and nephews.

 

 

Memorial services for Ms. Wyatt will be held on Wednesday,January 9, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home.

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 5:00 pm until the memorial hour.
