Mrs. Mae Bell Cole

Mrs. Mae Bell Cole, age 91 of Dallas, GA passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center.

 

 

 

Mrs. Cole was born on October 16, 1921 in Dallas, GA the daughter of the late Mr. George Washington Jones and the late Mrs. Roma Beatrice Strickland Jones. Mrs. Cole worked in Food services with the Paulding County Board of Education and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed flower gardening and cooking. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Anderson Cole; a daughter, Ella Mae Chamblee; and a grandson, Scott Ingram.

 

 

 

Mrs. Cole is survived by son, Doug and Gail Cole of Cartersville; daughter, Helen Ingram of Cartersville; five grandchildren, Jennifer Adams, Matthew Cole, Danny Chamblee, Mike Chamblee and Tony Ingram;seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Cleo McMichen and Roma Lee Hulsey, both of Dallas, Reba Jenkins of Cartersville and Beatrice Ragsdale of Dallas;brother, John Jones of Dallas; and many nieces and nephews.

 

 

 

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Cole will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Paulding Memorial Gardens with Brother Todd Brown officiating. Matthew Cole, Christopher Ingram, Mike Chamblee, Aaron Chamblee, Danny Chamblee, Brian Chamblee will serve as pallbearers.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 from 5 – 7 pm and on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 9am until they leave in procession for the cemetery.
