Mrs. Mary Evelyn Burns, age 71, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

 

 

 

Evelyn was born on October 1, 1941 to loving parents, the late Mr. Woodrow Willard McClure and Mrs. Frances Evelyn Foster McClure. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Low Donald Burns who passed away in February 2005.

 

 

 

Mrs. Burns worked as a manager for Riverside Manufacturing. She was a former member of the Order of Easter Star. Evelyn was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed crocheting and watching TV with her two dogs Taco and Prissy.

 

 

 

Evelyn is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Janet Hammond of Bowden, GA and Mrs. Joyce McGee of Austell, GA; one brother, Mr. Roy Lee McClure of Cartersville, GA and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

 

 

 

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1 pm with Reverend Thomas Cole officiating. Music will be provided by Ginger McClure.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 11 am until the time of service.
