Mrs. Jerrie Frances Priest

Mrs. Jerrie Frances Priest, age 64, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice.

 

 

 

Jerrie was born on April 17, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia, to loving parents the late Mr. Emmett Robert Brewer and Mrs. Julia Frances Lanham Brewer. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Mr. Thomas G. Priest who passed away April 20, 2002.

 

 

 

Jerrie was a wonderful caregiver and homemaker for her family and her animals. Together her and her husband owned Priest Automotive. She was a member of Beulahland Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping and could often be found working a puzzle.

 

 

 

Mrs. Priest is survived by two daughters Mr. & Mrs. Mike (Angie) O’Hern of Hiram, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. Bobby (Teresa) Jones of Rockmart, GA; two sons Mr. Dwayne Priest of Dallas, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. Danny (Lisa) Priest of Rockmart, GA; eleven grandchildren Alicia Wingfield, Amber O’Hern, Caleb O’Hern, Daniel Priest, Trevor Wingfield, Austin Priest, Tyler Priest, Tommy Priest, Ansley Priest, Will Summers, and Christian Summers; three great grandchildren Autumn Cantrell, Jayden Wingfield, and Landyn Summers; one sister Mrs. Jewell Ranson of Loganville; one brother Mr. George Brewer of Florida; many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

 

 

 

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1 pm with Reverend Russ Moore officiating. Music will be provided by her niece Kimmie Tinney. Christopher Tinney, Mason Carruth, Dustin Tinney, Travis Tinney, Austin Priest, and Trevor Wingfield will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 4 – 9 pm and Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
