Mr. Charles Billy Stephens

Mr. Charles Billy Stephens, age 80, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Bethel Gardens Assisted Living.

 

 

 

Charles was born in Gainesville, GA, on September 25, 1932, to loving parents the late Mr. Paul Stephens and Mrs. Rosa Lee Cagle Stephens. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Mrs. Hazel Rakestraw Stephens who passed away in 2001, and an infant daughter Elizabeth Paulett Stephens.

 

 

 

Charles served in the Sysco Metro. He was a faithful man, of the Baptist faith, and attended church at every opportunity. He enjoyed roller skating.

 

 

 

Mr. Stephens is survived by one daughter Mr. & Mrs. Michael (Paula) Thrash; and two grandchildren Sarah Lucille and Stephen Michael Thrash all of Hiram, GA.

 

 

 

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 3 pm, with Pastor Jimmy Elzy and Reverend Eddie Thackston officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart singing Beulahland & Paula and Nancy singing. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 1 – 8 pm and Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
