Barbara Ann Oliver, age 73, of Hiram, GA passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012. She was born on March 18, 1939 in Smyrna, GA to the late Issac Madison Poss and Mary Coey Lee Poss. Mrs. Oliver was a nursing assistant at Anderson Mill Health and Rehab for 15 years and a member of Haney Grove Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Oliver; son, Tommy Hartley; and brothers, Doyle Poss and Joel Poss

Survivors include her sons, Michael and Dianne Hartley of Douglasville, Kenneth and Cindy Hartley of Acworth, Glenn and Karen Oliver of Dallas; daughters, Penny and Clifton Fritz of Hiram, Sharon and John Pagan of Hiram, Gail and Bobby Ratliffe of Temple, Teressa and Walter Payne of Temple, Lisa and Todd Shipp of Cartersville; daughter-in-law, Tammy Jarrard; brothers, Charles and Susie Poss of Mableton, Jerry and Marylee Poss of Dallas; sister, Frances Turner of Temple; 68 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her dog, Jake.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. from Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville with Chaplain Tom Livengood officiating. Pallbearers will be Cliff Fritz, Johnny Taylor, Will Robinson, Paul Ratliffe, Walter Oliver, Wesley Payne, Jason Hartley, and Jeremy Hartley. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA.
