Mrs. Nancy Arlene Hembree Ragsdale

Mrs. Nancy Arlene Hembree Ragsdale, age 64, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Wellstar Community Hospice.

 

 

 

Nancy was born in Austell, GA on December 5, 1947 to loving parents the late Mr. Frank Hembree and Mrs. Janelle Hunt Hembree. She was also preceded in death by father in law Mr. Tom A. Ragsdale, mother in law Mrs. Sara Ragsdale; and one brother in law Mr. Michael A. Ragsdale.

 

 

 

Nancy was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She liked to cook, shop, garden and work crossword puzzles. She was a member of Dallas First Methodist Church. She worked as a teller for Citizen’s Bank and as a Paraprofessional for Paulding County Schools.

 

 

 

She is survived by her beloved husband Mr. William Murray Ragsdale of Hiram, GA; one daughter Mr. and Mrs. Jeff (Kellie) Pittman of Dallas, GA; one son Mr. & Mrs. Scott (Michele) Ragsdale of Temple, GA; four grandchildren Morgan Ragsdale, Katelyn Pittman, Tate Ragsdale, and Natalie Pittman; two sisters Mr. & Mrs. Frank (Diane) Stanko of Powder Springs, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. Jeff (Lawana) Bunn of Tennessee; one step-brother Mr. & Mrs. John (Derinda) Hembree of Stockbridge, GA; two brother in laws Mr. & Mrs. Brian T. (Judy) Ragsdale, and Mr. & Mrs. Larry L. (Deborah) Ragsdale; one sister in law Mrs. Jane Ragsdale; many nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ragsdale will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2 pm with Doctor Kenneth Ray officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden. Brian Ragsdale, James Ragsdale, Brad Freeman, Allen Freeman, Larry Ragsdale, and Billy Freeman will serve as Pallbearers. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 4 – 8 pm and Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
