Clark Funeral Home Posted November 17, 2012 Report Share Posted November 17, 2012 Jane Womack Scott, age 66, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012. She was born on October 9, 1946, in Dallas, GA, to the late Lowen & Lucille Womack, and was preceded in death by her brother, Sam Womack, and sister, Lynn Carl. Mrs. Scott was a member of Dallas First United Methodist Church, and retired from Paulding County School System where she served for 37 years as a Social Studies Teacher, Assistant Principal, and the Director of Student Information. Mrs. Scott received her Masters Degree at West Georgia College and her Specialist degree at Jacksonville State College. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Michael Scott of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, Brian & Kelly Golden of Midlothian, TX, Lane& Becky Golden of Dallas, and Nathan & Becky Scott of Dallas; grandchildren, Molly, Chad and Cole Golden; great-grandchild, Lillie Garcia; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Steve Schofield and Reverend Chris Pavlovsky officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. Larry Smith, David Cooper, Clyde Childers, Larry Jarrett, Judd Womack, and Kyle Bagby will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dallas First United Methodist Church, Forward in Faith at 141 East Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA, 30132, or Paulding County Chapter of American Cancer Society.
