Mr. Charlie F. Cagle, Jr.

Mr. Charlie Fredrick Cagle, Jr., age 73 of Dallas passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012

 

 

 

Mr. Cagle was born on December 20, 1938 in Asheville, NC, the son of the late Charles Fredrick Cagle, Sr. and Catherine Snyder Cagle. He was a member of the North Paulding Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Cagle loved playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

 

 

Mr. Cagle is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patsy Black Cagle; daughter, Kathy (Scott) Presley of Dallas; two sons, Jimmy (Susan) Cagle of Mableton and Keith (Lynn) Cagle of Hiram; mother, Catherine Synder Cagle of Marietta; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Michael “Mickey” (Brenda) Cagle of Yorkville; sister, Brenda (Jerry) Booth of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Cagle will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the North Paulding Baptist Church, 700 School Road,Dallas with Reverend Thomas Cole officiating. A eulogy will be brought by Keith Cagle. Interment will follow in the Kennesaw Memorial Gardens, 1700 Whitlock Ave. SW, Marietta. The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Daymon Morgan, Mike Terrett, Robbie Martin, Jay Christy, Brent Womack, and David Birchfield. Lee Dobson and Dave Groves and the deacons of North Paulding Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. The music will be provided by Tim Bell, Jimmy Cagle, Greg Davis and the North Paulding Baptist Church Choir.

 

 

 

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the North Paulding Baptist Church Building Fund in Mr. Cagle’smemory, P. O. Box 136, Dallas, GA 30132.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 24,2012 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 9:00 amuntil they leave in procession for the church.
