Funeral Director Posted September 22, 2012 Report Share Posted September 22, 2012 Ms. Cheryl Kay Tibbitts Herren, age 53, of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. Ms. Cheryl Herren was born in Atlanta, GA on February 12, 1959, to loving parents Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd and Maggie Lucielle Tibbitts. Cheryl was of the Baptist Faith and was affiliated with Shady Grove Baptist Church. She worked in shipping and receiving for R & R Donnelley Printing Co. Cheryl embraced the world around her, she enjoyed the mountains and the beach; gardening, yard sales, antiques, and shopping. She loved her pets Cedar and Shaggy. Cheryl is survived by one daughter Ms. Crystal Herren; two sons Mr. Jacob Herren and Mr. Jeremy Herren all of Rockmart, GA; her loving mother Mrs. Lucille Tibbitts of Powder Springs, GA; three brothers Mr. Bobby Tibbitts of Dallas, GA, Mr. Michael Tibbitts of Powder Springs, GA, and Mr. Danny Tibbitts of Dallas, GA; one grandson Christian Overly of Florida; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her father Mr. Lloyd Tibbitts who passed away July 19, 1994, and grandfather Mr. Earl Tibbitts who passed away in 1996. Funeral Services for Ms. Cheryl Kay Tibbitts Herren will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 2pm with the Reverend Garland Odom officiating. Jacob Herren, Sean Bagley, Danny Tibbitts, Adam Trestyn, James Herren, and Mike Tibbitts will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 3 – 9 pm and Monday, September 24, 2012 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
