Mr. Frank Milton Clemons

Mr. Frank Milton Clemons, age 87, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at his residence.

 

 

 

Frank was born in Lafayette, GA on September 16, 1924 to loving parents the late Mr. Luther Clemons, Sr. and Mrs. Myrtle Edge. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Mrs. Mary Evelyn Bookout.

 

 

 

Mr. Clemons was a salesman for Liberty National Life Insurance. He served in the Marine Corp. during World War II. He was a member of Clarkdale Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American Legion in Cedartown. He was an avid golf and sports fan. He played and coached little league football and basketball.

 

 

 

Mr. Frank Clemons is survived by two daughters Mrs. Mary Ann Norman Brown of Woodstock, GA and Mrs. Kay Strickland of Dallas, GA; one sister Mrs. Virginia Ware; one brother Mr. Luther Clemons, Jr. both of Cedartown, GA; three grandchildren Mr. William Norman of Woodstock, GA, Mr. David Norman of Acworth, GA, and Mrs. Beth Parker of Woodstock, GA; six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other beloved family members and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Frank Clemons will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 12 pm with Mr. William Norman and Mr. David Norman officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 11 am until the funeral hour.
