Funeral Director Posted August 20, 2012 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 Mr. Bobby Ray Cooper, Sr., age 70, of Dallas, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2012 at his residence. Bobby was born on January 25, 1942 in Hartselle, AL to loving parents the late Mr. Jodie Herman Cooper and Mrs. Paralee Childers Cooper. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Mr. Cecil Cooper and Mr. J. C. Cooper. Mr. Cooper was a member of Full Life Gospel Ministries. He worked as a Body Repairman in Auto Restoration. He enjoyed wrestling, motorcycles, and gardening. He loved to spend time with his children and great grandchildren. Bobby is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Mrs. Dorothy Cooper of Dallas, GA; daughter, Mrs. Melissa Ballard of Mableton, GA; son, Mr. Bobby Ray Cooper, Jr. of Dallas, GA; seven grandchildren, Bobby Ray Cooper III, Jacqueline Boyce, Amber Cooper, Jodie Green, D.J. Ballard, Joey Camp, and Josh Camp; thirteen greatgrandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Lee Ella Randolph, Mrs. Odean Hagood, Mrs. Winnie Jackson, and Mrs. Frances McCarrick, all of Alabama; nieces, nephews, and many other beloved family members and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Hightower officiating. Interment will follow in the Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 9:00 am until the funeral hour.
