Mrs. Lanora Ragsdale Kaplan, age 64 of East Point passedaway on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Southern Regional Hospital.

 

 

Mrs. Kaplan was born on December 3, 1947 in Dallas, GA thedaughter of the late Willie Ernest Ragsdale and the late Mary Louise ChristianRagsdale. Mrs. Kaplan was a Medical Assistant with Fort McPherson and was amember of the Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church of East Point.

 

 

Mrs. Kaplan is survived by her husband, David LawrenceKaplan; two daughter, Mrs. Lora Ann Fakpor of Nigeria and Michelle M. McDonaldof McDonough; two grandchildren, Jade Harvey of East Point and Jake M. Mizellof McDonough.

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Kaplan will be held on Thursday,August 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home withRev. Darwin Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Dallas City Cemetery. The family will have a reception at thefuneral home immediately following the burial.

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home onThursday, August 16, 2012 from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
