Mrs. Scarlette Lanier Newman

Mrs. Scarlette Lanier Newman, age 47 of Powder Springs, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012.

 

 

Mrs. Newman was born on May 23, 1965 in Atlanta, GA the daughter of John Weddington and Inez Esther Morris Weddington. She worked as a secretary for Delta Bonding and was of the Baptist faith.

 

Mrs. Newman loved her family and her grandchildren.

 

 

Mrs. Newman is survived by her husband, Burt Newman; a daughter, Amber Newman of Dallas; a son, Alan (Lee) Newman of Powder Springs; two grandchildren, Zander Keheley of Dallas and Cayden Newman of Marietta; two sisters, Paula Pendelton of Silver Creek and Connie Weddington of Atlanta; two brothers, Leonard Weddington of Rockmart and Johnny Weddington of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews.

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Newman will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Keheley officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday,July 31, 2012 from 6:00 and 8:00 pm. and on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 9:00 am until the funeral hour.
