Mrs. Monique Zakka, age 49 of Snellville passed away onMonday, July 9, 2012 at Peachtree Christian Hospice.

 

 

Mrs. Zakka was born on October 12, 1962 in Ottignies, Belgiumto the late Roger Zakka and Lilliane Andre Zakka. Mrs. Zakka had a culinary degree and cateredthe inaugural breakfast for President Clinton’s administration. Mrs. Zakka was a member of the Saint StephenOrthodox Church of Hiram.

 

She loved the beach, fishing, spending time with her familyand loved to cook. Mrs. Zakka ispreceded in death by her son, Alex Zakka on November 8, 2000.

 

 

Mrs. Zakka is survived by her husband, Issam “Roland” Zakka;a daughter, Cinthia Zakka of Snellville; mother, Lilliane Zakka; two sisters,Maggie Zakka of Lebanon, and Natalie Malcolm of Aberdeen, Scotland; a brother,Fouad Zakka of Kuwait.

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Zakka will be held on Tuesday,July 10, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Saint Stephen Orthodox Church, 130 Holy CrossPath, Hiram, GA 30141 with Father Andrew Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the church’scemetery.

 

 

A Prayer Service and Family and Friend visitation will beheld on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Saint Stephen OrthodoxChurch.
