Funeral Director Posted June 28, 2012 Report Share Posted June 28, 2012 Mrs. Jacquelyn M. Lewis, age 73, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on June 26, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Jacquelyn Lewis was born in Springfield, MA on December 1, 1938 to loving parents the late Mr. & Mrs. Cleave and Grace Mullen Johnson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Mr. Eugene “Jo Jo” Johnson and Mr. Cleave Johnson. She was a Graduate from the High School of Commerce in 1956. She was a devoted church mother and member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, GA. She enjoyed taking care of children and expressed this by devoting much of her time as a day care provider. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years Mr. Edward D. Lewis of Dallas, GA; two daughters Mrs. Michelle Bosworth of Springfield, MA and Ms. Jocelyn Lewis of Smyrna, GA; four sons Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Angela) Moore of Moultrie, Mr. Anthony Moore of Dallas, GA, Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Denise) Moore of Springfield, MA and Mr. Edward Lewis, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; four sisters Mrs. Jayne Giles, Mrs. Maureen Woods, Mrs. Lorraine Crump, Mrs. Lauretta King; three brothers Mr. Jerome Johnson, Mr. Ronald Johnson and Mr. Steven Mann; 12 grandchildren; 11great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Lewis will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 3 pm with the Reverend Johnny McBurrows officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. Anthony Moore, Jr. and the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Choir. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2 – 3 pm.
