Mrs. Phyllis Ann Gibbs Morris, age 73 of Dallas, GA passedaway on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

 

 

Mrs. Morris was born on December 31, 1938 in Atlanta, GA,the daughter of the late Mr. Homer Dennis Gibbs and the late Mrs. JeanetteMaddox. She was a graduate of OsborneHigh School in Marietta and received a PBX Receptionist degree from MarshBusiness College. Mrs. Morris was amember of the Pumpkinvine Baptist Church in Dallas, GA. Mrs. Morris enjoyed reading, crocheting andplaying with her grandchildren. Mrs.Morris is preceded in death by her husband of nineteen years, Mr. EdwardMorris; brother, Mr. Phillip Gibbs; and sister, Ms. Patricia Gibbs.

 

 

Mrs. Morris is survived by daughters, Mrs. Angie (Roger)Twilley, Hiram and Mrs. Tammy (Al) Nordin, Dallas; four grandchildren, Ashley(Nick) Dunegan, Stephanie Davenport, Michael Davenport III, and Tyler Twilley;great-grandson, Kaleb Dunegan; three brothers, Mr. Dennis (Tammy) Gibbs, TN,

 

Mr. David (Cathy) Gibbs, Cartersville, and Mr. Daniel Gibbs,TN; and several nieces and nephews.

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Morris will be held on Tuesday,May 22, 2012 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home withReverend Brad Benson and Music Minister Ryan Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Park Cemeteryin Atlanta. The following gentlemen havebeen asked to serve as pallbearers: David Gibbs, Dennis Gibbs, Daniel Gibbs, Michael Davenport, TylerTwilley, Roger Twilley, Nick Dunegan and Albert Nordin.

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home ofMonday, May 21, 2012 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, May 21, 2012 from 9:00am until the funeral hour.
