Clark Funeral Home Posted April 30, 2012 Report Share Posted April 30, 2012 Peggy Grantham Kirby, age 77, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012. She was born in Hogansville, GA, September 8, 1934, and was preceded in death by her parents, A. W. & Elsie Hartman Grantham and a grandchild, Kristen Nicole Kirby. Mrs. Kirby was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Her faith was very important to her and she loved the Lord and her family. Survivors include her husband, Herbert Howard Kirby; son & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Tricia Kirby of Dallas, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Lisa & Barry Jones of Dallas, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Tom & Cindy Grantham of Opelika, AL; sisters & brothers-in-law, Martha Rowland of Dallas, GA, Joann & Harold McWhorter of Hiram, GA and Brenda & Mark Hooker of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie Turner, Eric Jones, Michael Kirby, Katie Jones and Justin Turner; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at 2:00 PM, from Tabernacle Baptist Church, with Reverend Hayward Bass and Reverend Tom Grantham officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, April 30, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
