Clark Funeral Home Posted March 28, 2012 Report Share Posted March 28, 2012 George E. Fuller, Sr., age 97, of Hiram, GA, passed away to be with the Lord, March 27, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleve & Laura Fuller and his wife of 66 years, Lila Ragsdale Fuller, who passed away in 2007. Serving in the Army during WWII, he fought through three campaigns in Germany. Born and raised in Paulding County, Mr. Fuller was a successful businessman, farmer and charter member of Pickett’s Mill Baptist Church. He dearly loved his family, church and the Lord. Mr. Fuller is survived by children, George Fuller, Jr. & wife, Marianna of Mableton, GA, Jon Fuller & wife, Carol of Marietta, GA, Pam Stevenson & husband, Andy of Griffin, GA, and Jerrine Gray & husband, Ron of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Patrick Fuller, Meghan Fuller, Elizabeth Fuller, Chris Manders, Damon Manders , Ryan Manders and Melissa Redden; several step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces; and one nephew. Funeral services will be Friday, March 30, 2012, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Tony Samples and Reverend Harry Michael officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, Thursday, March 29, 2012, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
