Shane Harris

Shane Harris, age 30, of Powder Springs, GA (Paulding County), passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. The son of Doug Hughes & Sherry Harris Hughes, he was born December 3, 1981, in Atlanta, GA. Shane was a graduate of Villa Rica High School Class of 2000. He was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church in Carrollton and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hiram.

Survivors include his father, Doug Hughes of Austell, GA; mother, Sherry Harris Hughes of Douglasville, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Courtney Drewel & husband, Zachary of Palm Bay, FL and Renee Hughes of Douglasville, GA; grandparents, Patricia Harris Demeritt of Powder Springs, GA and Linville Douglas Hughes, Sr. & wife, Dolores of Emlenton, PA; niece, Savannah Rae Drewel; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 9, 2012, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
