Mrs. Mary Sadie Thompson

Mrs. Mary Sadie Thompson, age 88 of Moreno Valley, California passed away on February 19, 2012 at her residence.

 

 

 

Mrs. Sadie Thompson was born on June 11, 1923 in Ellijay, GA to loving parents the late Mr. Henry Tucker and Mrs. Nellie Frady Tucker. She worked as a weaver at a cotton mill. She was a homemaker and an active prayer warrior in her church, Oak Hill Church of God of Prophecy.

 

 

 

Mrs. Thompson is survived by two sons Mr. Houston Thompson and Mr. Norm Thompson; one daughter Mrs. Patricia Gilbert; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Thompson will be held at Oak Hill Church of God of Prophecy on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 2 pm with Pastor Barry George and Reverend Jack Thompson officiating. Music will be provided by Rhonda Pillow and Ellen Watson. Loren Pillow, Tanner Pillow, Taylor Pillow, Josh Jones, Bill Jones, and Larry Potate will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Church of God Cemetery.
