Mrs. Mildred Inez Brown Morris, age 87, of Dallas, Georgiapassed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center.

 

 

Mrs. Mildred Morris was born on November 30, 1924 inPaulding County to loving parents, the late Mr. David Ross Brown and the lateMrs. Cora Long Brown. Mrs. Morris ispreceded in death by her husband, Mr. George Richard Morris; three brothers,Mr. Guy Brown, Mr. Clyde Brown, and Mr. Ray Brown; four sisters, Ms. NellieBrown, Ms. Pauline Moody, Ms. Marvine Moody, Ms. Ora Lee Sosebee,

 

and Ms. Florance Moody.

 

 

Mrs. Morris was a member of the Yorkville BaptistChurch. She worked as a seamstress with Malbon,Inc. She loved crocheting andquilting. She also loved hergrandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

 

 

Mrs. Mildred Morris is survived by her daughter andson-in-law, Mrs. Joyce and David Dooley of Dallas, GA; two sons and adaughter-in-law, Mr. George Morris, and Mr. Darrell and Denise Morris, all ofDallas, GA; two brothers, Mr. Harold Brown of Alabama and Mr. Glenn Brown ofRiverdale, GA; 5 grandchildren, Aneysa Thomason of Cartersville, GA, TommyDooley of Dallas, GA, Craig Morris, Roswell, GA, Misty Thompson, Dallas, GA andAmy Morris, Dallas, GA; 8 Great-Grandchildren, Troy Dooley, Las Vegas, NV,Tyler Dooley, Madeline Dooley, Makayla Dooley, and Mallory Dooley, all ofDallas, GA, Devon Thomason, Metter, GA, Nathan Thomason and Jacob Thomason,both of Cartersville; many nieces and nephews also survives.

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Morris will be held on Wednesday,February 15, 2012 at 2 pm in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home withthe Reverend Wayne Meadows officiating. Troy Ingram, Mike Rice, and Craig Morris, Jeff Eberhart, Jim Parrish,and Thomas Cole will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at the Yorkville Memorial Gardens.

 

 

The family of Mrs. Morris will receive friends at thefuneral home of Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 4 – 8 pm and Wednesday,February 15, 2012 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
