Funeral Director Posted February 6, 2012 Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 Mr. David Allen Tutton, age 53 of Rydal, Georgia passed away on February 3, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, GA. Mr. David Allen Tutton was born in Atlanta, GA on February 22, 1958 to loving parents Mr. Malcolm Mitchell Tutton, Jr. and Mrs. Martha Janie Canup. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Malcolm M. Tutton, Jr. who passed away in 1976 and 1 brother, Mr. Scotty Tutton who passed away in 1970. Mr. Tutton was self-employed and worked as a commercial painter and contractor. In his spare time, Mr. Tutton was a fan of baseball and enjoyed playing horseshoes. Mr. David Allen Tutton is survived by his daughter, Christie Jones of Dublin, GA; mother and stepfather Mr. & Mrs. Wendell and Janie Nichelson of Rydal, GA; 4 brothers, Mr. Ronnie (Betty Jean) Tutton, Sr. of Dallas, GA; Mr. Michael Tutton of Mableton, GA; Mr. Roger (Levis) Tutton of Harrison, Tennessee; Mr. Mark Mitchell Tutton of Rydal, GA; 2 sisters Mr. & Mrs. Hugh and Elaine Mitchell of Dallas, GA; Ms. Kay Silvers of Cartersville, GA; and several Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews. Funeral services for Mr. David Allen Tutton will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 2 PM with Reverend David McCorkle officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, GA. Pallbearers include Ronnie Tutton, Roger Tutton, Mark Tutton, Ronnie Tutton, Jr., Bill Tillis, and Michael McCleary. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 4- 9 PM and on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 9 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM.
